How buying and selling on dnb-step works.
dnb-step is operated by DNBSTEP OÜ, registry code 17039029, Estonia. Two kinds of paid services may be sold on the platform:
trainer identified on the offer and at checkout. The trainer is an independent trader acting in the course of a business or profession, not our employee. The service contract is directly between the customer and the trainer.
DNBSTEP OÜ itself. Those offers clearly name DNBSTEP OÜ as the seller.
Paid trainers must confirm that they act as registered businesses, self-employed professionals, or an equivalent trader form permitted in their country. They must complete payment-provider onboarding and provide the identity, business, and tax information required by the platform and applicable law.
Before payment, we identify the seller and show the service, total price, performance date or period where applicable, and the cancellation or withdrawal terms.

Where DNBSTEP OÜ is expressly named as the seller, DNBSTEP takes the seller's responsibilities for that purchase.
Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment option shown at checkout. For trainer-sold services, DNBSTEP arranges collection on the trainer's behalf. The platform deducts its commission from the trainer's share; it does not add an undisclosed fee to the customer price.
The rate and any applicable payment charges are shown to trainers before they publish paid offers and in their transaction records.
The dancers directory orders profiles by most recent profile activity by default. Users can switch to available alternatives, such as alphabetical ordering or follower count, and filter by criteria such as city, country, style, role, and experience level.
A trainer's lesson offers are displayed on that trainer's profile, newest first.
There is no paid placement for trainer profiles or lesson offers. Trainers cannot pay to rank higher, and the commission rate does not depend on which trainer a customer chooses.
DNBSTEP may separately feature offers in clearly identified editorial, community, or promotional sections. Such placement is separate from the stated default directory ranking. Offers sold by DNBSTEP OÜ are clearly labelled as such.
The price shown before payment is the full customer price, including applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise.
Cancellation and withdrawal terms depend on the service and are shown before every purchase:
policy displayed at checkout. Because they are leisure services for a specific date and time, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not normally apply.
leisure-service exception. Unless checkout states more favourable terms, the seller offers a contractual 14-day cancellation period provided the course has not started.
immediate-access rules shown specifically for that product.

For trainer-sold bookings, the trainer receives the information needed to deliver and administer the service, such as the customer's name, contact details, booking details, and related messages. The trainer may use it only for the booking, compatible legal purposes, and any marketing separately permitted by data-protection and electronic-communications law.

Under DAC7, DNBSTEP collects and verifies seller identity and tax details and, where applicable, reports seller identity, quarterly amounts, transaction counts, and platform fees annually to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. The authority may exchange the report with tax authorities in the seller's country of residence.
DAC7 reporting does not replace the trainer's own tax obligations.
Anyone may browse public dnb-step content, but paid purchasing and selling may be limited to countries supported by DNBSTEP, Stripe, and the relevant service configuration. A trainer cannot publish a paid offer unless their country and seller status are supported.
For a problem with a purchase, trainer, payment, moderation decision, or the platform itself, email hello@dnb-step.com. DNBSTEP provides first-line support and, for trainer-sold services, normally involves the trainer responsible for the customer contract.
Trainers may use the same address to complain about ranking, payments, restrictions, suspensions, or other treatment by the platform.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers in Estonia may, where that body has jurisdiction, contact the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (ttja.ee). Consumers elsewhere in the EU may contact their local European Consumer Centre.
